Our Multitek 3040 XP2 Fuel Wood Processor is designed to manufacture logs up to 30" in diameter and 40' in length. When operated at design capacity, this machine will buck and split a round every 8 seconds for the lowest possible manufacture cost.

Split from standing dead and Shoal Cove hemlock fuel logs decked on land for 2-3 years. The moisture content will be 35-40% as compared to green at 55-60%. Once split the wood will give up about 10% moisture per month if under cover until it reaches equilibrium with moisture in the surrounding air (15-18%).

The customer can designate piece length on truck or container quantities. 16" is our most common length, but we will buck as short as 12" or as long as 30".

In Ketchikan, we will deliver using a 12 CY dump truck. The wood will be dumped where spotted by the customer. In surrounding communities, cord wood will be delivered by Northland Barge Lines container to the location of your choice.
